14 Weeks

Here's 14 Weeks (July 6)
This skirt only works with a flatter tummy, so this was a one-time thing.
I started to transition to maternity shirts and unbuttoning my shorts, but a lot of my non-maternity stuff was still working.
This is the start of Trimester 2! Hooray!
It wasn't quite instantaneous, but I did have less "morning sickness" starting at about week 14. My stomach became bigger and I had more of an appetite. But seriously, donuts and breakfast is still amazing. :)

Family Photo Shoot

I love my boys.

Building Legos together. We like to put as many animals in as little space as possible now.

A new selfie and a book photo.
I have LOVED this series. It's the Lunar Chronicles and starts with Cinder. Cinder is a cyborg in the future China who becomes involved in a lot of things she didn't know were so important and a lot of crazy things happen. I highly recommend it. (Worst synopsis of a book ever, but whatever…)
"Cress"is the 3rd of 4 books. The fourth comes out in 2015, I'm pretty sure. All of the books are fun and exciting. Go try them out!
Ruby Red is another series that I started. (by the way, any book I recommend, 98.9999% chance it was recommended to me by my sister…) It is a really cool book. It's about time travel. There's a family who has a time-traveling gene and it pronounces itself at 16. The main character thought she wouldn't have it because her birthday wasn't on the day predicted to be the birthday of the next time-traveler. When she then travels back in time, a lot of conspiracies and crazy trust issues are brought into her life. It's 3 books, all of the books are out already, and it was a really fun read.

We had our first ultrasound on the 9th for baby #2!
I was thrilled to find out that only ONE baby was in there, it was healthy, happy, and appeared to be praying in the picture below. :) Such a cutie!

I was about to scramble some eggs and saw a happy face, so I sent a picture to Rachel (Best friend from high school) saying "It's Eggs!!! And it's happy to see you!" (name that quote! Go!)

Our neighbor/ward friend works for a bus and truck making company. He loves his work. It's amazing what he knows about trucks and buses. No wonder his kiddo (about a year younger than C) knows his trucks so well!
He brought home a bus to deliver to the college nearby our house the next day. I got a text saying we could check out the bus when we wanted to that evening, so C climbed up and ran around thrilled with how awesome the bus was. Honking the horn was quite possibly the most amazing thing since sliced bread, by the way...

This is the neighbor, "LoLo." These boys kind of love each other. They don't show it on the outside, but they sure do love spending time together!

Remember the baby C was kissing earlier? This is her. LOVE those chubby cheeks and pursed lips! I really wanted a girl, so I came and cuddled this girlie so she could send girly vibes to my baby. :)

Apparently I was homesick when dressing me and C that day. His shirt says "I've been a Razorback fan my whole life" and my shirt is the shape of Arkansas (with "y'all" inside…but I think you can see that…)

C has figured out where daddy keeps his gaming dice. He likes to take them out and play with them at every opportunity.

lil stud

Krispy Kreme had a deal one day where if you bought a dozen donuts, then you could get a dozen glazed donuts for 79 cents. ohhhh man, this preggo NEEDED those donuts!!
So I texted my friend (the one who posted on Facebook about the deal) and asked if she wanted to get some with me and split them up.

Here are our boys (G is 3 months older than C)

And here are the preggos eating our donuts. :)
My favorite part about doing this was that I was one of a select few that knew she was pregnant. I am so excited for her! She's due about a month after me, so we are pregnancy buddies

Gardening hats at Lowe's.

Sitting in the wading pool on a HOT day

Anyone noticed that I've had glasses on for the past few posts (aka weeks)? My contact prescription expired and we couldn't quite afford going to the dr yet especially since it would be a new dr.
I finally went! This is my "SUNGLASSES!!! HOORAY!!!" picture after the dr appointment

Week 13

Sunday, I had to cut this boy's crazy hair, so I didn't get a picture that day. :)

We learned from this time that he is NOT ok with hair on his back.
In order to just finish as soon as possible, we didn't wipe him off. Next time, we kept him as hair-less as possible.

Monday was a band concert at the park.
I've loved being in band. It's been hard to give up 3 hours every Monday for 11 months of the year, but I certainly loved it. With this baby coming, 2014 was my last season. Pretty sure I've been doing band there for 3 years.
I had to send this picture to Ty on his mission. He's the biggest band nerd I know of!

Found a picture of the finished blanket! haha
It was very pretty. I wish I could've seen her face when she opened it.
I love making baby blankets.

Belly picture for 13 week! (Taken July 1)
Only crummy feelings are very small and easily move on when I eat something. I did notice more naps taking place...
 ^photo bombed.
C wanted a picture, too. So cute.

Sitting in a little basket while I showered

He wanted to hold his baby like a real baby, so I put it in his arms and asked if it was a boy or a girl.
He said "gu gu." So then I asked if mommy's baby is a boy or girl and he said "gu gu." I got so excited! You never know what kids really do know!!!
That night, J asked him if he was a boy or girl and he said "gu gu."
Dang.

This was the most INSANE trip to the grocery store I had ever been to. Holy Moly! It was July 1, so that makes sense, I guess... The lines for checkout were crazy long and everyone was kinda moody about moving aside so you could get bread. I had to abandon my cart, run over, get bread, and run back… haha

4th of July was a lovely day.
We started it by going to my Ward's breakfast. We always do a pancake breakfast. J's parents like church breakfasts, so they came along and we went to a parade.

J was in a small ensemble for band in the parade, so the grandparents sat with me and the boy. It was a cute, quaint parade. :)

We had a PERFECT spot in the shade (but it was at the end of the parade) and so a bunch of other people with kids came over there. These seats go in a wagon and belonged to some of our insta-friends from the parade. Pretty cool.

Waving at the people on horses, I think.

There's Daddy up on the back of the huge flatbed!

Walking to the park to meet up with Daddy and see the antique cars and booths.

Petting Clyde the Camel

He got overheated, so we sat in some shade (hooray for western weather where shade does make a difference!)
We went to Taco Bell for lunch (so very American), C took a nap, we made burgers for dinner, and then did some fireworks at home. It was our first time buying fireworks! Woo!

C liked stomping on the poppers

Since sunset is at about 9:30, we did a few fireworks for C to see and then did the rest after Gma and Gpa left to watch someone else set off huge ones. :)
I love our country. Every place has issues, but I am thankful for where I live!

Saturday, we brought C over to Gma and Gpa's place and left on the motorcycle!

We drove out to Idaho City.
It was about 1 1/2 hours to get there. My bum hurt quite a bit, but it was fun!

My cute boy

We got there and had TONS of issues finding a place to eat, but finally found something yummy and cute. Idaho City is an old Mining Town. It has quite a lot of cool stories. We wandered around for a little while, ate lunch, and drove back home.

Weekend with Family and Week 12

Jolyn and her family came to Idaho for a week and our family got the weekend! It was perfect since we wouldn't have been able to come over as much during the week.

We had a busy busy weekend! We played games, we played at the soccer fields, C climbed up REALLY high on the chain link fence, we watched a silly movie, kids got naps… it was a good weekend.

Here, Gpa's playing with the marble track with the two grandkids.

We went swimming, too!

Jolyn and Todd love watching Jimmy Fallon a lot. One of the things he does is Lip Sync offs. You come with a song you are prepared to lip sync to. You mouth the words, dance to it, and then there is a winner at the end.
This one below is the best example.

So we did it! It was a secret from everyone what our song would be until we announced it, looked it up on Spotify, and lip synced to it.

I loved it. We were all surprised by how much fun it was. I think we'll be doing it again sometime!

This is John admiring his bride who was singing a styx song. His face is just so cute here admiring his bride. :)

I am kind of awesome. This is "Me" from Beauty and the Beast Broadway. Love this song.

J did Raining Men
So hilarious

J's Dad

Todd's dancing is the best part of his. :)

Jolyn also brought her Jamberry nails with her. It was fun to do nails together, but I wasn't impressed by them. They're supposed to stay on for 2 weeks, but by day 2, I was dying to rip them off. I think with practice, they could be better, but since they're stickers, I didn't have many options for which sticker went on which nail. They sure are cute, though!
Mine are the mint with gold stripes.

My new week is on Sundays, so here's the beginning of Week 12! (June 22)

My adorable boy reading books

I love how he really likes sitting in his carseat when he doesn't have to. Why is that?

My friend had a baby girl and C wanted to kiss her before we left the baby shower for another friend who was having a baby soon.

Heart-melting stuff right there!

This was what I gave the mommy from the shower. I started the blanket and it became HUGE! I don't use patterns, so I had to start it over. It turned out cute… Hopefully I got a picture of the finished project on the real camera...

C started to line stuff up all the time. I loved this one.

Vacuuming. He was so proud of himself.

This is a tiny pill box upside down. I found it all situated like the deathly hallows by my cute hubby.

Pretty sure he was being a punk right before this picture… :)
