Disney World Day 3

Tuesday, we went to Hollywood Studios.

The first thing we did was try to go watch my nephews (11, 10, and 6) in the Star Wars show. We were too late, though, so we watched the next one and went on Star Tours.
It was fun to watch the Obi-Wan look alike and the kids he worked with. Darth Vader was really pretty cool, and some of the kids were adorable...

The Star Tours ride was soooo cool. Every combination of events is different every time you go. I went 3 times... :)

The most prevalent activity at Hollywood Studios is shows.
We went to a Little Mermaid one and it was C's favorite. There were puppeteers but you couldn't see them because they were in black and the puppets were higlighted. There were lights, bubbles, mists, and a live Ariel. C stared and cooed and was just fascinated.

This one was a Beauty and the Beast one. C was definitely NOT happy for this one. He screamed for most of it...Sweet J took him out since Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney show.

There was a Muppet 3D show. C didn't like that one for a little while, but calmed down and fell asleep.

This was probably the hottest day of the week. Thankfully, we did bring one pair of shorts, though!! :-/
C slept as much as he could, but was irritated most of the day because it was so hot. Poor kid.

Here's J with Lightning McQueen
and with Mater. C's cousin, TJ, LOVES Cars, so we sent them pictures. :)

Here's the best picture I have from "Fantasmic," a show about Mickey's dreams and how the bad guys, especially Maleficent, want to ruin his dreams. But Mickey conquers his nightmares and it ends happily ever after.
This is a boat with lots of Disney characters on board

There's a street in Hollywood Studios that has lots of cool buildings and they were all decked out for Christmas.
When Mr. Osborne, who lived in Arkansas, passed away, his daughters donated all of his lights to Disney. ALL of them were on this street. I don't know how to convey how many lights this was. It's amazing. He owned 3 houses in a row on a street in Little Rock and would put up a zillion lights in a big display. Over the years, he was forced to do less and less and then passed away, so his lights were put to good use! It was cool!

Obviously the first picture is my favorite, but mostly for your facial expressions, you both look so intent!
